About us

Well, the beginning, there were 2 single mums of 2 art protégées. The mums were tried. The kids were not. Protégée number 1 was 6 years old and Protégée number 2 was 17 or 18. Soleil and Persephone, respectively. The 2 mums, in their infinite wisdom, took shelter in a big, old Edwardian house a weird little town with lots of grapes and lots of old people.

Many wars had been fought in that town. One slick, rainy night, the Americans - on the other side of

we were fighting with had pelted across the Niagara River and wiped out nearly the entire population of Fort George. In one night.

(Side note: it embarrassed the 2 mums when people from the town would dress up and ren-enact

Reservations & Cancelations

We are family-friendly, with a 2-night minimum stay and a maximum of 4 adults per suite. A one-night deposit is required to secure your booking. Cancellations within 14 days will forfeit the deposit.
